Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
Ernesto Hernandez-Krepishov provides care that is compassionate, clear, and deeply patient-centered. Early in his career, he developed a strong interest in chronic allergic conditions after seeing how seasonal, environmental, food-related, and immune-driven allergies can significantly affect a person’s quality of life and the wellbeing of their family. His healthcare journey began as a physician in Cuba, where he built a strong foundation in clinical assessment, patient-centered care, and collaborative practice. After moving to the United States, he continued growing professionally through nursing and advanced practice training, ultimately becoming a Nurse Practitioner. His goal has remained the same: to combine advanced clinical knowledge with compassionate care to help patients better understand and manage the conditions that affect them every day.
Ernesto’s practice philosophy is built on three core values: education, empathy, and partnership. He understands that allergies can be frustrating, confusing, and sometimes frightening, which is why he believes it is essential to listen carefully, validate each patient’s experience, and explain care in a way that feels clear and approachable.
His goal is for every patient to feel heard, understood, and supported with a care plan that is not only clinically effective but also realistic for everyday life.
At Allergy Asthma Specialists, Ernesto cares for patients of all ages with a wide range of allergic and immunologic concerns. He performs comprehensive evaluations, helps guide treatment plans, administers and interprets allergy testing, and works closely with patients so they can better understand their symptoms and feel more confident in their care.
One of the most rewarding parts of his work is seeing the transformation that happens when patients finally experience relief, whether through immunotherapy, lifestyle changes, or targeted treatment.
Ernesto is committed to ongoing professional development and to staying current with the latest research in allergy and immunology so he can provide high-quality, up-to-date care. His practice reflects a combination of clinical experience, continued learning, and a genuine commitment to helping others feel better.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and relaxing with a good movie or TV show. For him, every patient is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, and that purpose continues to guide his work each day.
Whether it’s food allergies, asthma, or environmental triggers, our experts are here to listen,
test, and treat with real solutions that help you feel like yourself again.
