Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Specialist
Dr. Jose R. Arias, Jr. brings both medical expertise and personal understanding to his practice. He chose to specialize in allergy and asthma because he knows firsthand what it is like to live with these conditions. Having experienced asthma for much of his life and raised children with allergies, he understands both the physical and emotional impact these issues can have on daily life.
That perspective helps him connect with patients in a more personal and supportive way. His goal is to provide specialized care, listen with empathy, and help each patient feel understood, informed, and well supported throughout treatment.
Dr. Arias believes good care starts with truly understanding what a patient is going through. His perspective as a specialist, a patient, and a parent helps him look beyond symptoms alone and understand how allergies and asthma affect daily life, peace of mind, and overall wellbeing.
From there, he works closely with each patient to find clear answers, order the right testing, and build a treatment plan that makes sense for real life.
Allergy, asthma, and immunology are highly specialized fields that often require careful evaluation, accurate testing, and targeted treatment. Dr. Arias believes this level of specialized care can make a meaningful difference for people living with persistent symptoms or asthma that may put their health at risk.
His approach is to work in partnership with the patient, their physician, and the broader care team to provide clear, coordinated care focused on real results.
Dr. Arias has been recognized as one of America’s Top Physicians and has experience in clinical research trials. He has also been active in the American Lung Association, where he served as President, and volunteers with programs such as the National Asthma Screening Program, Boggy Creek Asthma Camp, and the Rotary Club.
He also enjoys giving presentations to the local medical community. Outside of medicine, he values family deeply and is proud that both of his adult children have pursued careers centered on caring for and supporting others.
Whether it’s food allergies, asthma, or environmental triggers, our experts are here to listen,
test, and treat with real solutions that help you feel like yourself again.
